Update on HealthArc Portal Performance — October 21, 2026
What happened
On October 21, some practices experienced slower page loads and intermittent request timeouts.
It was due to a critical worldwide security advisory was issued for PHP, a software component used by many websites, including parts of HealthArc. Our team prioritized applying the available security updates. Protecting patient information and maintaining reliable access remained our priorities throughout the response.
We applied the PHP security updates the same day and increased server capacity to restore normal performance. The portal is now operating normally.
What we’ve done
Applied the PHP security updates addressing the reported vulnerabilities.
Added server capacity to improve responsiveness and provide additional headroom.
Reviewed server settings and scaling behavior to identify changes needed to reduce recurrence.
Closely monitored portal performance to identify and respond to further degradation.
Where things stand
Normal portal performance has been restored. We are continuing the technical follow-up to strengthen reliability, and no action is needed from your practice.
We recognize the disruption this caused your team, apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience.
