HealthArc Application User Manual


Introduction

The HealthArc Patient App allows patients to:

  • View automatic device readings

  • Add manual readings

  • Chat with their provider

  • Book appointments

  • View CCM (Chronic Care Management) or PCM (Principal Care Management) care plans

  • View assigned devices

1. How to Download the App

Method 1 (Via SMS Link)

  1. When the patient is created on the Web Portal, they receive an SMS with:

    • App download link

    • Invitation code

  2. Clicking the link redirects to:

    • App Store (iOS)

    • Play Store (Android)

  3. Click “Install” to download the HealthArc App.

Method 2 (Direct Search)

  1. Go to Play Store / App Store

  2. Search “HealthArc”

  3. Click “Install”

  4. Click “Open”


2. Information on App (First Time Opening)

When the app is opened for the first time, four information screens are shown.

Navigation

  • Swipe left / Click “Next” → Move forward

  • Swipe right / Click “Previous” → Move backward

  • No previous on Screen 1

  • No swiping left on last screen

  • “Skip” → Goes to Sign In page

  • “Done” → Goes to Sign In page

Help (Question Mark – Top Right)

Opens:

If selecting screen share:

  1. Enter registered mobile number

  2. Click Submit

  3. Receive 6-digit verification code via SMS

  4. Share code with provider

  5. Provider adds code in web portal

  6. Patient sees pop-up:

    • Allow → Provider views screen

    • Deny → Access denied

A new verification code is generated each time.


3. Sign Up Process

  1. Patient receives Invitation Code via SMS.

  2. Enter:

    • Invitation Code

    • Registered Mobile Number

  3. Click “Next”.

  4. Create New Password.

  5. Accept Terms & Conditions.

  6. Click “Register”.

Patient is logged in.


4. Log In Procedure

Logging in on a New Device

If switching to a new device, follow these steps to log in seamlessly:

  1. Download the HealthArc app on your new device.

  2. Upon opening, select the option for existing users, like "I already have an account."

  3. Enter your registered mobile number and password to access your account.

  • Forgot your password? Use the "Forgot Password" feature to reset it and regain access.

  1. Enter:

    • Registered mobile number

    • Password

  2. Click “Login”.

  3. Redirected to Device Setup.

5. Forgot Password Procedure

Note: The "Forgot Password" feature is useful if switching devices or you no longer remember your password.

  1. Click “Forgot Password”.

  2. Select country code (default auto-detected).

  3. Enter registered mobile number.

  4. Click “Submit”.

  5. Receive 6-digit authentication code via SMS.

  6. Enter authentication code.

  7. Enter new password.

  8. Click “Submit”.

  9. Return to Login page.

Important: Ensure the new device has the latest version of the HealthArc app installed for the best experience.


6. Home Page

Displays greeting based on time:

  • Good Morning / Afternoon / Evening / Night + First Name

Under greeting:
“Today’s Summary”

Clickable Blocks

  • Pending Tasks

  • New Messages

If unread messages exist, count is displayed.


Pending Tasks Logic

Based on physician instructions:

  • 3 readings/day → 10 AM, 1 PM, 7 PM

  • 2 readings/day → 10 AM, 7 PM

  • 1 reading/day → 10 AM

Tasks show:

  • Vital name

  • Due time

  • “Due Today” in amber

After completion:
Readings replace pending tasks.

Reading Colors

  • 🔴 Red → Emergency

  • 🟠 Amber → Warning

  • 🟢 Green → Normal


My Tasks Screen

Shows:

  • Date

  • Pending Tasks

  • Completed Tasks

Update Methods

Automatic Reading:

  • Taken via assigned device

  • Auto-syncs

Manual Reading:

  • Taken from personal device

  • Added manually


Add Manual Reading

  1. Click “Add Manual Reading”.

  2. Select Vital.

  3. Enter values.

  4. Click Confirm.

If all readings complete:
Message shows:
“No Pending Task for [Vital Name] today.”


Your Metrics

Displays:

  • Daily Compliance %

  • Health Score %

Daily Compliance

Based on prescribed reading frequency.
Example:
If 1 BP/day prescribed and 10 readings in 30 days → 33% compliance.

Taking multiple readings in one day does not increase compliance beyond prescription.

Health Score

Based on normal range vs total readings.
Ranges defined in care plan.


Care Plan

Visible if enrolled in CCM/PCM.

Includes:

  • Goals

  • Barriers

  • Symptoms

  • Monitoring

  • Preventive Care

  • Psychosocial Testing

  • Medications

  • Allergies

  • Risk Classification

Patient cannot edit care plan.


Alert Settings

Set by provider in Web Portal.
Applies to:

  • RPM

  • CCM

  • PCM

Patient cannot modify.


TeleHealth

Connect with care coordinator.


My Devices

Shows:

  • Assigned devices

  • Serial numbers


Results Screen

Displays:

  • Latest readings

  • Timestamp

  • Calendar selection

Refresh Methods

  • Top refresh button

  • Pull down to refresh

Calendar

Select date to view readings.
Reset returns to current day.


Reading Colors

  • Red → Emergency

  • Amber → Warning

  • Green → Normal


Manual Reading from Results

  1. Click “+” icon.

  2. Select Vital.

  3. Enter value.

  4. Confirm.

Cancel closes without saving.


Viewing All Readings

Click vital → View chart.

Chart modes:

  • D (Daily)

  • W (Weekly)

  • M (Monthly)

  • 3M (3 Months)

Health Record → View All.


Email / PDF Export

Click three dots:

  • Send as Email

  • Print as PDF

Email:
Enter email ID → Send.

Print:
Download or print report.


Messages

Patients can:

  • Chat with assigned care coordinator

  • Send emoticons

  • View history


Appointments

Patients can request:

  • Phone Call

  • Video Call

  • Clinic Visit

Only one active request at a time.

Until provider approves:
Status shows “Pending”.

After approval:
Displays:

  • Date

  • Time

  • Notes

After completion:
Appointment resets.


User Profile

Updating Contact Information

To update your registered mobile number, you must:

  1. Contact HealthArc support via the app's "Customer Support" option.

  2. Provide necessary identity verification details.

Note: This is essential to maintain access to your account and ensure all notifications are directed to the correct contact.

Accessible from Home (three bars).

Displays:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Mobile Number

  • App Version (footer)


User Information

Shows:

  • Profile Picture

  • Name

  • Email

  • Mobile Number

Cannot edit:

  • Name

  • Mobile number

Can:

  • Change profile picture (Camera/Gallery)

  • Deactivate Account


Settings & Preferences

  • Change Password

  • Change Email

  • Languages

  • Preferences


Change Password

Authentication via SMS.
Same process as Forgot Password.


Change Email

  1. Enter new email.

  2. Click Update.
