1. Irregular Heartbeat Detection for Blood Pressure Readings
We are making it easier for care teams to spot potential heart rhythm issues by enhancing how irregular heartbeat information appears in patient records.
What's New
When a blood pressure reading includes heartbeat rhythm information, HealthArc will automatically display the heartbeat status to help your care team quickly assess each reading.
Clear Heartbeat Status Indicators
Blood pressure readings now show heartbeat status right next to the pulse value:
(IHB)– Irregular Heartbeat detected
(NHB) – Normal Heartbeat detected
Examples:
100 BPM (IHB)
80 BPM (NHB)
Where to Find It
Location | What You'll See |
Dashboard > Alerts | New "Irregular Heartbeat" / "Normal Heartbeat" notifications appear in your notification bell alongside BP reading alerts |
Patient Chart > Blood Pressure | Heartbeat status indicators (IHB/NHB) displayed with Blood Pressure readings |
Tooltip Information | Hover over NHB to see "Normal Heartbeat" or IHB to see "Irregular Heartbeat" |

2. New RTM Parameters: Headache & Joint Flexibility
Expand your Remote Therapeutic Monitoring capabilities with two new patient-reported outcome measures, now available in both English and Russian.
What's New
🤕 Headache Monitoring
Patients can rate their headache severity on a simple 0-10 scale, helping you track pain patterns over time.
🦴 Joint Flexibility Assessment
Patients can report how much their joint condition limits movement or daily activities, also using a 0-10 scale.
Language Support
Both parameters automatically display in English or Russian based on your practice or patient language settings.
How to Set It Up

FAQ's:
Q: Which blood pressure devices support irregular heartbeat detection?
A: This feature works with the eight supported devices listed in the release notes above. Tenovi blood pressure devices are not currently supported. If you're using a different device model, contact support to confirm compatibility.
Q: How do I know what IHB and NHB mean?
A: Simply hover over the abbreviation to see the full meaning:
NHB = "Normal Heartbeat"
IHB = "Irregular Heartbeat"
Q: Will I see heartbeat status for old blood pressure readings?:
A: Currently, heartbeat indicators appear only for new and active readings. Previous BP readings have not been updated with IHB/NHB flags. Our development team is working to determine if it's feasible to add this information to historical readings.
Q: Why don't Tenovi devices show heartbeat indicators?
A: This functionality is not applicable to Tenovi devices, as the required flags are not available for those devices.
Q: How do I enable the new RTM parameters for my practice?
A: Go to Settings > Default RTM Settings and toggle on Headache and/or Joint Flexibility. These will then be available to assign to individual patients through their RTM setup.
Q: Can patients see these RTM questionnaires in languages other than English?
A: Yes! At the moment, both new RTM parameters can be set in English or Russian based on your practice or individual patient language settings.
Q: Do I need to assign these new RTM parameters to all my patients?
A: No, you can selectively assign Headache and/or Joint Flexibility parameters to specific patients based on their clinical needs. Go to Patient Chart > Edit Patient > RTM Setup to customize each patient's RTM configuration.
