Overview
HealthArc supports three models: HA102, HA103, and HA103-V2.
HA102: Older and least common; does not have the Triple Mode feature.
HA103 & HA103-V2: Most widely used; include Triple Mode functionality.
Triple Mode allows three consecutive readings in one session, providing an average for better accuracy and consistency.
Toggle Button: Located on the right edge of HA103 and HA103-V2.
Position 1 = Single Mode
Position 3 = Triple Mode
Basic Troubleshooting for All Models:
Remove and reinsert batteries to restart the device. This often resolves minor issues and reestablishes SIM connectivity for data transmission.
After measurement, readings (Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse) appear vertically on the screen.
Successful transmission displays “OK” on the screen.
Using the Device
Remove jewelry (watches, bracelets) from your left arm.
If poor circulation in the left arm, use the right arm.Roll up your sleeve; ensure it’s not tight.
Position the cuff on your upper arm:
Tube off-center toward inner arm, aligned with the little finger.
Or place the artery mark over the main artery (inside of arm).
To locate the artery: press 2 cm above elbow bend and find the strongest pulse.
Bottom edge of cuff should be 2–3 cm above the inside elbow. Wrap snugly (one finger should fit between cuff and arm).
Sit upright with back supported, feet flat, legs uncrossed. Rest arm on a table at heart level.
Take 5–6 deep breaths before starting.
Taking a Measurement
Tips for Accuracy:
Silent room, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
Stay relaxed, avoid movement or talking during measurement.
Measure under similar conditions daily (same time, same arm).
Procedure:
Press Start when monitor is off; measurement completes automatically.
Data transmission begins (cloud icon with upward arrow blinks).
If successful: icon disappears, screen shows “OK” or “oH”.
Device powers off automatically after ~1 minute or press power button manually.
Error Codes:
Transmission failure: E5 or E6.
Up to 60 readings are stored and sent when connection resumes.
Press power button anytime to stop measurement.
Measurement Precautions
Avoid measuring:
Within 1 hour after eating or drinking.
Immediately after tea, coffee, smoking.
Within 20 minutes after bathing.
While talking, moving fingers, or in very cold environments.
When you urgently need to urinate.
Maintenance
Store in a dry place, away from sunlight.
Avoid water; clean with a dry cloth.
Do not shake or drop the device.
Keep away from dust and extreme temperatures.
Use a slightly damp cloth for dirt (never immerse cuff in water).
Basic Troubleshooting Tips
Restart the Device
Remove and reinsert all batteries to restart the monitor. This often resolves minor technical issues and helps reestablish the network connection.Check the Cuff Air Tube
Remove and firmly reinsert the cuff air tube into the side of the monitor. Ensure the plug is pushed in tightly to prevent loose connections or air leaks. This step can resolve cuff-related errors and issues with inflation or deflation.Verify Cuff Fit
The cuff should be snug—not too tight or too loose. If the cuff is too small and feels tight, contact HealthArc Support or your care coordinator for a larger size.
If the cuff is too large and wraps loosely, request a smaller size cuff.
Accuracy Concerns
Perform a reading in Triple Mode and check the consistency of the average reading.SIM or Network Errors
If you encounter SIM or network-related issues, contact the HealthArc Support Team for assistance.Device Power Issues
If the monitor shuts down mid-reading or does not power on:Replace the batteries.
Ensure batteries are inserted in the correct polarity.
If the issue persists, contact HealthArc Support for further help.
Resolving E1 Error on Blood Pressure Monitor (Model HA102)
The E1 error indicates that either the cuff is not wrapped correctly or the air plug is loose. Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
Steps to Fix the E1 Error
Restart the Device
Remove the batteries from the monitor.
Wait for 10 seconds, then reinsert the batteries.
Check Network Connectivity
Wait until the network bars appear at the top of the monitor screen.
If the signal is weak, move the patient to an area with better cellular reception (e.g., near a window).
Reconnect the Air Plug
Remove the air plug and reconnect it securely to the monitor.
Wrap the Cuff Properly
Ensure the cuff is snug around the patient’s arm—not too tight or too loose.
Start the device.
Wait for Confirmation
After the reading is taken, wait until “Ok” appears on the monitor screen.
This may take a few seconds to a few minutes depending on signal strength.
Data Transmission
Once “Ok” appears, the readings will automatically transmit to the HealthArc app and portal.
Finish Up
After completing all steps, the patient can remove the cuff and store the device.
HA103 and HA103-V2 Basic Troubleshooting Guide
If you encounter issues with your HA103 or HA103-V2 blood pressure monitor, please follow these steps:
Basic Steps
Restart the Device
Remove the batteries from the monitor.
Wait for 10 seconds, then reinsert the batteries.
Check Network Connectivity
Wait until the network bars appear at the top of the monitor screen.
If the signal is weak, move the patient to an area with better cellular reception (e.g., near a window).
Verify Triple Mode Setting
Ensure the Triple Mode button is set to 1 for standard operation.
Apply the Cuff and Start Measurement
Wrap the cuff properly on the patient’s arm and start the device.
If the Issue Persists

Triple Mode Instructions
To enable Triple Mode, switch the Triple Mode button on the device to 3.
In this mode, the monitor will take three consecutive readings.
The patient must keep the cuff on until all three readings are complete.
Once finished, an “Ok” message will appear on the screen.
The device will transmit the average of the three readings to the portal.
This helps us verify consistency across multiple measurements.
If, after using Triple Mode for a couple of days, the readings still seem inconsistent compared to other devices, please contact HealthArc Support for assistance.
